NFL FLAG’s partnership with Toyota is delivering real impact for youth sports, with local dealerships stepping up to help enhance leagues in their communities. Through tailored donation packages, Toyota dealerships are providing resources that directly support players, leagues, and families—making a meaningful difference both on and off the field.
Here’s a closer look at how this partnership is impacting two NFL FLAG leagues.
In Rockford, Illinois, Anderson Toyota Group’s $2,000 scoreboard sponsorship is transforming the game-day experience at Clarence Hicks Memorial Sports Park. The donation helped add professional-grade scoreboards with sponsorship signage to four of the park’s six NFL FLAG fields, elevating the league’s presence in the community.

But the benefits go far beyond the fields. “The revenue from this sponsorship will go directly to the athletes participating in our Rockford NFL FLAG Program,” said Lamont Jones of the Rockford Park District. “It will be used for fee assistance and NFL FLAG Regionals.”
Anderson Toyota Group’s involvement has opened the door for even more collaboration. “We are exploring more sponsorship opportunities for our NFL FLAG program,” Jones said.
For nearly 20 years, SV5 NFL FLAG Football League has been a cornerstone of youth sports in Morgan Hill, California, serving families across nearby communities like Gilroy, Hollister, and San Jose. This year, the league received a $20,000 donation from Freeway Toyota, which is helping it grow in new and exciting ways.
“This incredible generosity is life-altering for our organization,” said league operator, Jeff Dixon. “The donation frees up operating capital previously spent on player gear, allowing us to expand our outreach and programming.”
With the funding, SV5 NFL FLAG Football League is taking major steps to enhance its offerings. These include introducing girls’ flag football programs, hosting free camps with 49ers Prep, and launching competitive divisions to prepare athletes for NFL FLAG Regionals and Championships.
Toyota’s involvement is also inspiring other local businesses to support the league. “The Toyota brand carries a level of prestige that is instantly recognizable to businesses, encouraging their support,” Dixon explained.
